This blog is about the emerging technology, augmented reality. When I first heard about augmented reality I thought it was the same thing as virtual reality. It wasn't until I took a deeper look to see that augmented reality is a mixture of the real world and the virtual one.  The Horizon Report refers to augmented reality as a "blended reality."
